As the Community Schools Coordinator for Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School, I will serve as a bridge between the school and its surrounding community, with a primary focus on rebuilding trust, fostering collaboration, and creating a supportive environment that promotes student success. In the middle school setting, my unique role emphasizes the distinct developmental needs of adolescents by fostering strong relationships among families, educators, community partners, and students. By identifying and leveraging community assets, I will work along with Administration, the Social Worker, and Guidance Counselor to align resources with school priorities, creating programs that support academic achievement, social-emotional development, and family engagement. A key part of my role involves building capacity within the school and community to create sustainable systems that promote equity, access, and long-term student growth. Through intentional partnerships and shared leadership, I will work to ensure that the school becomes a hub of opportunity and support, where every student and families feel empowered to thrive.

Camille Logan

Student U Community School Coordinator | Roseboro-Salemburg Middle School

Camille's Why:

Student U is a hub of hope, respect, and inclusion for all staff, students, and stakeholders. These, along with many other values such as respect for all and integrity, are what I strive to live by every day, regardless of where I am. It has always been instilled in me that we treat each other with love and respect, and that is what Student U embodies.

Camille outside of Student U:

Whether it is coaching football, helping the elderly in my community, supporting our local businesses, or treating one another with respect by speaking and holding the door open. These are all values that I live by on a daily basis, and values that I pass on to my personal children and my extended children.

Advice Camille finds valuable:

“Always be authentically yourself. Remember, everyone is human and deserves to be treated with respect.”

Professional accomplishments:

With nearly 18 years of experience in the school system, some of my most meaningful accomplishments have involved supporting students who initially lacked confidence and helping them grow into successful high school graduates.
