As a first-generation student and professional, I deeply believe in the transformative power of education to change lives, communities and the world.
I share my talents with Student U because I believe every individual possesses inherent dignity and worth and deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. We are all meant to do big and beautiful things in the world, and I am committed to ensuring that our students and families feel empowered to do just that.
I love to learn about people and communities through visiting museums, reading books, and especially travel.
The phrase Be who you needed when you were younger resonates with me deeply as I often was the first – and sometimes the only – one in my classrooms, grad programs, and professional roles. While I stumbled, felt out of place, and had false starts, I ultimately flourished due to the support and mentorship of others. Now I aspire to provide others with the validation of being seen and heard as they strive to reach their full potential.
