As the College Success Coordinator, Jordin's primary responsibilities include providing support to second-year students and upperclassmen in the College Promise Program. This involves helping students navigate barriers, connect with resources, and plan for their careers through individual check-ins, campus visits, and one-on-one advising. Additionally, Jordin serves as the primary point of contact for alumni re-engagement and program evaluation.

Jordin Foucher

Student U College Success Coordinator

Jordin's Why:

I am passionate about empowering individuals in low-income communities and dedicated to increasing the number of first-generation and minority college graduates. I believe that education is the most powerful tool for breaking cycles and generational curses and unlocking potential. My core values center around equity, access, and support, which ensure that every student has the resources and guidance they need to succeed.

Jordin outside of Student U:

Outside of Student U, I am currently in school to receive my MPA, hoping to create and own a non-profit that gives different types of resources to disadvantaged individuals. Still, in my spare time, I like to travel and explore the world and other cultures, play with my shih poo, and give back to my alma mater.

Advice Jordin finds valuable:

“If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you. If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you.”
