What extracurricular activities did you participate in?
I was a Resident Advisor, indoor rock climber and intramural sand volleyball player during my time at UNC-Chapel Hill.
What are your goals and aspirations after graduation? Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
How have you grown as a person over the last 4 years?
To be a leader to my peers, coworkers, and community. I have grown to energize my community by mentoring others and helping others develop the necessary traits to become an effective leader.
Which of Student U’s core values has been most meaningful in your journey to graduating?
Sharing Your brilliance.
How has your perspective on the world changed since graduating from high school? Life? Student U?
The more I learn, the more I see that I can’t make the changes I want to see by myself. It takes a community, trust, and a good team.
If you could give a student in the Class of 2022 one piece of advice as they prepare to attend college in the fall, what would it be?
There will be so many voices telling what to do, but the only voice you will listen to in the end is yours.
