Because of our amazing community and partners, we’re transforming education and empowering students to thrive. 2023-24 was a joy-filled year for not only our brilliant students, but for our greater community, too. This year’s Impact Report showcases the incredible outcomes your support makes possible:

• 100% of our high school seniors have graduated since 2014, with 90% continuing their education in 2- or 4-year colleges and universities.

• During our Summer Academy, students achieved an average 24% academic growth in just five weeks and outperformed their peers in end-of-year outcomes by threefold.

• Nearly 100 educators benefited from 160+ hours of teaching experience and 80+ hours of specialized training, while 75 participants attended our Leadership Academy to enhance their impact.

But it doesn’t stop there. At the historic W.G. Pearson Center, we’re building connections and redefining the community hub as a lively center of learning and joy, home to 11 nonprofits and impacting 25,000 families across North Carolina.
