How will my donation be used?
Your contribution will be instrumental in advancing our mission to empower and prepare first-generation college students in Durham Public Schools, as well as their families and educators, to emerge as the transformative leaders our city needs. The funds will enable us to walk alongside students and their families throughout their educational journey, offering comprehensive support from 6th grade through college graduation, ensuring they receive holistic support at every pivotal stage.
Is Student U a registered nonprofit?
Yes. Student U is a Durham nonprofit 501(c)3 organization (tax ID # 27-3460491). All donations are tax-deductible to the extent of the law. Financial information about this organization and a copy of its license are available from the State Solicitation Licensing Branch at 919-814-5400. The license is not an endorsement by the State.
What percentage of my donation goes directly to supporting students?
