Dan Kimberg, recipient of 2013 Samuel Cook Society award

On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, Dan Kimberg attended the Samuel DuBois Cook Society Awards Dinner to receive a 2013 “Sammie” award. The award and society is named after the first African American faculty member hired and tenured at Duke University. The award goes to individuals who work toward the progress of African Americans who are part of the Duke University community.

Dan is very honored to be a member of the illustrious group of previous award recipients and current honorees.
