Student U has raised $25 million dollars over the past ten years in cash and an additional $5 million dollars in in-kind donations.Last year, Student U acquired management responsibilities over the 55,000 square foot W.G. Pearson Center building after an extensive renovation process without taking on debt. With about 55% of funding coming from foundations, 15% from government grants, 5% from organizations, and 25% from individuals, no one source is irreplaceable.

Student U’s finance committee oversees a reserve policy which states that Student U must always have 33% of funds projected to be needed three years in the future, in a reserve fund. This conservative policy ensures Student U will be able to weather any financial emergency.

Each year, Student U undergoes a full financial audit. For ten years in a row, Student U has received a clean opinion with no findings.
