Licensed Student and Family Counselor (LCSW/LPC)

Student U recognizes the important role that social and emotional health plays in a student’s readiness to be engaged in learning and college-bound. We would like to hire a licensed Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor, to provide direct services to students and families through individual, group and family therapy.

Associate Director of College Advising and Success

The Associate Director of College Advising and Success will be a part of our program department and will work closely with Student U’s high school staff to support students and families as they prepare to make post-secondary choices. In addition, this position, will collaborate with Student U’s college success coordinators to work with students through graduation from institutions of higher education. This position will be responsible for nurturing a post-secondary completion culture throughout the organization including among Student U students, parents and staff, leading to students enrolling in best fit institutions. The Associate Director of College Advising & Success will provide individual counseling, develop curriculum and lead programs that ensure our students enroll in best fit institutions by the end of their senior year.

High School Program Coordinator

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the High School Program Coordinator serves on a team of two Coordinators who together are responsible for the development and implementation of all programs touching the lives of students and their families, grades 9-12, as well as the management and professional development of part-time staff. We are currently hiring for 1 High School Program Coordinator position. The High School Program Coordinators manage the daily operations of the high school program to ensure our students, parents, staff and community partners are able to reach their full potential. This High School Program Coordinator position will develop programming to support career discovery, community engagement and leadership opportunities for our high school students.

Part Time Positions: 

Program & Logistics Assistant

The Program and Logistics Assistant position is an indispensable position for optimal operations of our entire program team. Reporting to the Operations and Facilities Manager, this position will manage all mass communications with students and families, logistics of program events, our student database, provide the operational support for the recruitment of our students on an annual basis, and organize and maintain our master program calendar.

Bilingual Families Advocate

Reporting to the Chief Program Officer, the Bilingual Families Advocate is a part-time (15 hours a week during the school year and up to 30 over the summer) position responsible for ensuring all Student U staff have the cultural competence to support the academic and life outcomes of Latinx students. Specifically, this person will ensure our programs are responsive to the experiences and needs of Latinx students, communication with families is consistent across all programs and our interpretation and translation practices reflect best practices.

High School Advocate

High school advocates will work closely with Student U’s high school staff to support students and their families as they prepare for high school graduation and college acceptance. The high school advocates will be responsible for mentoring, supporting and advocating for a small cohort of students within their school. Ideal candidates for this position will have proven record of developing strong relationships and advocating on behalf for students and families.
