Middle School Program Coordinator
The Middle School team consists of two Middle School Program Coordinators (we are hiring for one only) who work collaboratively to plan, implement and evaluate our daily after-school and summer program for 150 middle school students & families. As a member of our full-time staff, the Middle School Program Coordinator participates in all staff meetings, professional development and special projects across departments.

PART TIME POSITIONS
High School Advocate
High school advocates will work closely with Student U’s high school staff to support students and their families as they prepare for high school graduation and college acceptance. The high school advocates will be responsible for mentoring, supporting and advocating for a small cohort of students within their school.
Ideal candidates for this position will have proven record of developing strong relationships with students and families and being an advocate for students and families. In addition to this, candidates will be resourceful, dedicated to the task of supporting first-generation students, believe all children can succeed when adequately supported, and able to fully immerse into a community-driven organization. SUMMER ACADEMY POSITIONS
High School Mentor Teacher
High school mentor teachers serve as an important support role in our Summer Academy program. Mentors will be assigned teachers based on their expertise. Mentors will coach teacher through the unit and lesson planning process ensuring their curriculum is aligned with Student U’s goals for the Summer Academy.
This role is designed for a person who will enjoy coaching teachers, developing culturally responsive curriculum and contributing to the Student U community. Interested? Apply online HERE. This position is open until filled with a start date at the latest of June 1st.
High School Math Teacher and High School Arts Teacher
Our high school Summer Academy is a six week academic enrichment program designed to support our rising 9th and 10th grade students’ academic and social transition to high school. In order to achieve these goals, students take courses that foster intellectual curiosity and provide them with the skills necessary to succeed in high school and college.
Summer Academy teachers commit to teaching one, self-designed course over the course of our Summer Academy. All teachers participate in a one week staff training, a student orientation, and two night, out of state college tour with students. Interested? Apply online HERE.
